I passed by a fashion exhibit last time in a mall. The displayed dresses caught my attention cause those were really eye catching type of designs. I took some photos of the clothes and the banners that were also displayed with information about the fashion school, the banner and some designs of the students.
The exhibit started in October 16 until October 22. Quite late to make this post but still I think it is worth to share. One of the founder of the Slim's Fashion and Arts School is Ms. Salvacion Lim Higgins. She was born in Legaspi Albay in January 1920. She established the school back in 1960 together with her sister Purificacion and the very first location was in Taft Avenue Manila. Ms. Salvacion was awarded a hall of fame posthumously award at the 1990 Manila Fashion Designers Award. Below are some more details about her and her journey into the fashion world.
The displayed dresses were outputs of their students for the year 2017. There are some barongs as well for the gentlemen clothing division. All of those displayed were really artistically designed and well presented. Some samples below.

There were also sketches that were displayed in the venue. The designs were created by the students of the Slim's Fashion and Arts School. It showed how creative the students are and could be the fashion trend of the recent times.
I also asked permission to take a photo of their desk where students are designing or making their sketches at that moment. One of the instructors were inspecting or checking the outputs of their students.
