Main company sponsor or featured was the nem.io which nem stands for New Economy Movement. They offer various services or uses for their blockchain platform such as for inventory management, logistics tracking, voting, user authentication, micro payments, crowd funding and escrow services. Their cryptocurrency is called Xem and it can be stored in a Nem wallet.

First topic that was discussed was about cryptocurrency as some of the attendees might not be too familiar with it yet. Then Bitcoin was discussed as it was currently a highly valued crypto and first to create/have a blockchain. With its current value, everyone is surely interested in knowing more about this coin and, how and why they should invest on it.
Some sites where Bitcoin can be traded, buy or sell were discussed as well. Also were it can stored or the Bitcoin wallets available. The ATM's (Automated Teller Machines) that were accepting Bitcoin transactions in the Philippines were discussed as well.

Then some trading tools were also discussed. The presenter showed some live graphs of the trading activities of Bitcoin and how those stats and graphs movements might be useful in telling the traders whether it will be the right time to sell or buy. Still he said that anything can happen and those are just guides. So there will always be the risk and it will be up to you on how you will play or what will be your strategies together with using those tools as your guide.

Some common trading terminologies were also discussed such as FOMOmeans fear of missing out (do not buy the top and do not sell the bottom), MOAR means More (buy more) and HOLD mean hold (the price went below your average price so, keep holding until you gain profit).

The advantages and reasons of using a blockchain was also discussed. Like its being secure that it is almost impossible to be hacked or totally destroyed. Its being permanent and all transactions were public or can be seen by anyone. As well as users can be anonymous and all can use the platform.

There were presenters too that discussed about the LoyalCoin. Their main vision for this altcoin is for everyone can earn and use their loyalty points every time and everywhere. The company behind this is Appsolutely as they have been already in the business providing digital rewards to various businesses/establishments. They would want rewards points in the form of crypto which will be the LoyalCoin which can also be converted to pesos and other alt coins. That can be used in any establishments in contract with them, so that their customers will not need a lot of reward cards to bring or various accounts for every establishment and will not be limited on just spending their reward points for a specific establishment.

There is an ongoing presale for LoyalCoin and they mentioned that it will have a public launch in January 2018 together with their LoyalWallet. I asked what will be the initial value of LoyalCoin and they said proximately 25 cents (peso).
